THE CODE: SERVICE & PRIVACY


At Black Sheep Home Services, we operate with absolute transparency. This document outlines the standards we uphold, the data we collect, and the boundaries of our professional liability.


1. THE SERVICE AGREEMENT


The Scope of Restoration
Every project is defined by the Digital Diagnostic Quote provided prior to deployment. We execute the specific "Solutions" selected by the homeowner. Any additional work requested on-site will require a revised quote and authorization.


The "Black Sheep" Payment Model
We believe in accountability. Payment is due only upon 100% completion of the project and a final walkthrough (verbal or digital). We accept E-Transfer, Credit, and Cheque. Late payments exceeding 14 days will be subject to a 5% administrative fee.


The 2-Year Moss-Free Certification
Our Roof Moss Neutralization service includes a 2-Year Warranty. If significant organic growth reappears on treated surfaces within 24 months of the service date, we will re-deploy and re-treat the affected area at zero cost to the homeowner.


Property Access & Requirements
Homeowners must provide access to a functional exterior water source. We ask that the perimeter be cleared of fragile items (potted plants, patio furniture) prior to our arrival. While we utilize "Plant-First" protocols, Black Sheep is not liable for damage to items left within the immediate work zone.


Pre-existing Conditions
Our restoration process involves low-pressure soft washing and high-flow rinsing. We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing structural issues, including but not limited to: rotted wood, loose shingles, improperly sealed windows, or faulty electrical outlets.


2. DATA & PRIVACY PROTOCOL

Information We Collect
We collect necessary diagnostic data to service your property, including your name, service address, email, and phone number. This data is captured through our secure quoting engine (Tally/Jobber).


How We Use Your Data

  • Operations: To dispatch crews to your area.

  • Communication: To send you quote updates, invoices, arrival notifications, and your 2-Year Warranty Certification.

  • Meteorological Alerts: We may use your data to alert you to seasonal risks (e.g., heavy rain alerts for gutter maintenance).


Security & Third Parties
We do not sell, or trade your data to third-party marketers. Your information is stored in encrypted environments. We only share data with essential service partners (like our CRM or payment processors) required to execute your restoration.


Your Rights
You remain the owner of your data. You may request a full export or deletion of your property profile at any time by contacting us at the address below.
